Democrats – with the help of RINOs like Liz Cheney – are desperate
to turn the Jan. 6 protest into an insurrection.
And for good reason (at least in their minds).
January 6 was not an insurrection by any means, legally or by
any other means.
Provoked by agitators from left wing Antifa and BLM, some of
the protesters got a bit out of control. But no worse than any of the left wing
protests from the 1960s such as at Columbia University – which Jan. 6 resembles
– when left wing radicals stormed the college, took over the offices, and one radical
(a one time close friend of mine) was photographed by The New York Times
sitting in the college presidents desk, smoking one of the college president’s
cigars.
Photographs from the Columbia University take over so resemble
the Jan. 6 protest, they could substitute for each other with most people being
unable to tell the difference.
The Jan. 6 committee was deliberately developed to sell the
idea of insurrection – refusing to accept any Republicans on the committee except
those handpicked by the Democrats (RINOs like Liz Cheney).
The committee’s sole purpose is to create the illusion of an
insurrection and blame Trump for orchestrating it.
There is method to this madness. By manufacturing phony
witnesses, getting people to lie under oath, and to build a false case against
Truth, the committee (and the Democrats) hope to invoke the 14th amendment that
prohibits anyone involved in an insurrection from holding elected office.
The problem for the Jan 6 Committee, the democrats and their
corrupt media, Jan. 6 does not meet the definition of an insurrection.
But this won’t stop media from promoting it as one, in an
attempt to get GOP voters to abandon Trump in favor of a GOP candidate the
Democrats think they can beat.
How long the farce of the Jan. 6 Committee continues is
anybody’s guess. It’s predecessor, The House of Un-American Activities, went on
for almost a decade and destroyed thousands of people’s lives. You can expect
the Jan. 6 Committee to ruin reputations and do anything else underhanded to try
to derail the Trump reelection.
The question remains how long before a real court with a
real judge throws out the Committee’s complaint and whether or not Garland, the
Democratic hit man, will be willing to risk his career to support conclusions
made by dishonest witnesses.
And if this attempt to subvert the use of the 14th Amendment
fails, will Democrats return to the tried-and-true method for winning in 2024,
stealing another election?
