The real sad part of the conflict over the burn pit
legislation is belief that Jon Stewart is the veterans' friend.
Jon Stewart is a front man for a democratic money scam. A not
so pretty celebrity face who is selling snake oil on behalf of the democrats.
On the surface the bill provides a very needed service to
former military personnel, giving them sorely needed relief for injuries they
suffered in combat
But as with most thing democrats propose, it is actually a
Trojan horse money scam with an insidious aim to scam vets away from voting
republican in November.
To begin with the bill is funded as an entitlement. This
means it never again gets reviewed and voted on by congress in the future,
regardless of how ineffective the program might be or how finds are misused.
This could have been funded in the annual budget subject to
an annual review.
Secondly it includes $400 million in unexplained
discretionary money that can be used any which way the bureaucrats want. The Republicans
know this, but many gullible democratic supporters and needy vets don't.
Most likely democrats couldn't care less if the bill passed
as long as GOP opposition to the money grab gets vets pissed off enough to vote
against the GOP in November
Jon Stewart is being portrayed as a hero rather than the heel
he is, a front man for this Democratic con game.
He is no hero for vets’ rights. He is and has always been a
proponent of woke but may well get an academy award for promoting this con job
and selling veterans short by promoting a democratic scam
