Sticking it to the liberal elite Nov 6, 2024

Even in the throes of defeat, the New York Times continued its biased coverage. You have to admire their consistency, becoming the newspaper representing some of the most elite members of society, a snob journal sticking up for spoiled people who are used to getting their own way.

Their coverage of Trump’s victory seems like one loud wail, as their so-called reporters continue to spin “what should have beens” rather than learning lessons about how inappropriate their coverage has been, and how they ought to mend their ways.

A commentator on CBS demonstrated this liberal arrogance best when she recalled some of the Trump rallies that included very macho men including some pro wrestlers tearing their shirts off. Her liberal college training did not prepare her for real people and so she was shocked to finally realize what America is really about.

“This is what THEY really want,” she said in shock.

Yes, most of America still wants real men, not metrosexuals, want real values, not beliefs shoved down their throats by federal mandate. They want real stoves – gas stoves, and light bulbs that get warm. They want to have air conditioning for their houses, and fuel for their cars and food they can afford for their tables.

Another commentator on NBC went off the rails about abortion, and was shocked that women across America didn’t come out in droves to protect the sanctity of their bodies, again being utterly out of touch, since media harped on this and even encouraged married women to secretly vote against Trump behind the backs of their husbands, demonstrating how little respect the liberal elite have for ordinary people. This elite includes media, politicians and upper west side over-educated college crowd, all of whom look down their noses at working people.

Having a host of celebrities putting on a concert in a city full of impoverished people seems like a poor way to get the vote out, especially when a number of those celebrities claimed they will leave the country if they don’t get their own way, when poor people do not have the resources to leave if the candidate of their choice loses the election.

Springsteen, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Tom Hanks, Harrison Ford and the rest have become as out of touch with the common man as British royalty, and worse, have no clue (or have forgotten) what it means to put bread on the table or keep a roof of their heads. Even so called Marxists like Obama live in mansions and lord over the masses as Lords over serfs.

Although I don’t always like what Trump says or does, he – for all his wealth – understands ordinary people, and used it to his advantage, rubbing the noses of The New York Times and the Washington Post in it as if training a wayward puppy by sticking its nose in the crap it produces.

Trump may have been on the ballot, but it is common man that won the election.
