Trump’s got it, too!!

 As if this election could not get any stranger Trump tested positive for covid-19 yesterday as did his wife.
This of course has let loose a deluge of anti-trump stuff from liberals and liberal press who need to lecture him about being careful not wearing his mask etcetera etcetera.
It is hard to tell what the political impact will be eventually since covid-19 has been the Democratic campaign and they will fit it into their campaign strategy for condemning Trump and blaming him for not doing more to stop it
Conspiracy theories believe that the Democrats had hijacked this virus from the start and then began exploiting it using it to bring down the economy and then eventually bring down the president
You have to wonder what they are secretly thinking now are they hoping for the worst that the president at 74 succumbs to the disease and so therefore the election becomes moot.
And what about those in Biden camp?
Are they speculating at this moment as to the fate of their own even older candidate and questioning whether he had much contact with Trump at the recent debate.
Probably they are comforted by the fact that Biden hates Trump so much that he unlikely shook Trump's hand and so the contact if anything was minimal.
And what about the betrayer Wallace that reporter from Fox who bushwhacked Trump? Did he shake Trump's hand? Is he worried that he might come down with it too?
The scary part of all this is that feeds into the general Panic that covid-19 has caused in the country.
If the president can get it how vulnerable is everybody else
Very few people look at covid-19 as a kind of serious flu and so we have been so turned up into this Panic we don't realize that a virus gets around regardless of how many precautions.
Disillusion of wearing a mask to save yourself or someone else or putting it on the face shield or even creating social distance is just that a fantasy we do it because we need to do something just the way those during the black plague did all kinds of strange things assuming they were protecting themselves when they really could not
In some ways I think it may be that our great leaders who insists we wear masks are doing us a favor trying to calm us by giving us something pointless to do in order to keep us from really freaking out when we realize there is nothing too we can do, that ultimately we are either going to get it or not.
We can wash ours hands. We can stay away from people. We can wear masks and say our prayers, but ultimately this is something Mother Nature has imposed, and we are still arrogant enough to believe that we can control Mother Nature when we can't.
