You have to wonder just how many years it took for climate
change to reek its havoc on the west coast, drying up all that land Beverly Hills
to the Yukon.
Or did carbon emissions sudden cause a massive drying up of
the water resources that created the tinder box now in flames.
Four years ago, when Joe Bidden was still vice president,
the same climate change apparently decided to land on the rich neighborhood
just north of Los Angeles, driving some of the wealthiest movie and music stars
out their homes.
We heard not one peep from any of the many celebrities who
are currently blaming Trump for the disaster.
Biden and Obama did manage to outlaw the 100-watt light bulb
and to create the Paris Accord which largely allowed other countries and large
corporations to opt out of their climate obligations through the exchange of carbon
credits.
This did nothing to actually solve the problem of climate
change, but it made a lot of people feel good.
Other than awarding a lot of government and other grants to
scientist to come up with more and more outlandish end of the world scenarios, the
mother-earth-loving Biden did very little to save the planet except to add to
the carbon problem with his hot air.
So how long did it take for climate change to reshape the
forests of California and Oregon to make them so vulnerable to flame?
Despite all of the hoopla about this being the largest forest
fire in the region – that part of the country has been prone to these fires for
as long as anyone can remember with as many as two dozen comparable fires over
the last 60 years. Mark Twain even reported similar fires as early as the
1970s.
The dry, windy weather conditions in that regions create
ideal conditions for wildfires – and before the year 1800 about 4.4 million acres
of forest and shrubland burned each year – and a number of these first have last
for months.
Although Biden would like to blame Trump for climate change
because Trump voided the Paris Accord that paid other countries to keep polluting,
the truth the state of California gave climate change a hand by failing to
clear up old wood and other fuel serving as tinder for potential blazes.
Diversion of rivers to feed cities like Los Angeles also
creates idea conditions for fire – clearly an issue of climate change.
Of course, a long-standing problem is the Diablo and Sana
Ana winds are partners in the crime, helping to spread flames once they’ve
started.
Biden blames Trump who has been in office only four years,
while these problems have existed for centuries – long before the industrial
revolution that Climate Scientists claim created Climate Change.
But we heard nothing from Obama, the environmental president,
or his environmental vice president. We didn’t even hear anything about these
fires from Al Gore, the man who once claimed to have invented the internet and
certainly has invented the Climate Change Myth.
If this has been going on for so long and Biden was vice
president for eight years before Trump became president, why didn’t Biden do
anything about it when was in a position to raise alarm about climate change
setting the west coast on fire?
If we have anyone to blame for the current fire, and the
lack of forest management, and the diversion of rivers to feed cities, then
shouldn’t we be blaming the man who sat and did nothing while he was vice
president for eight years?
How long does it take climate change to work its magic? How
many years of neglect did it take to set the country on fire?
Did Trump do it all this in his short four years in office?
Didn’t Biden believe in science back when he was in office?
