Ginsberg’s haunting death bed request

You have to love the deathbed last request. This is truly political theater at its best.
Of course, it's all crap since Ruth Ginsburg was notorious political operative – more than Obama’s equal when it came to political sleight of hand.
Both Ginsberg and Obama were savage behind the scenes manipulation.
But you have to give Ginsberg high marks for her death bed scene which has liberals everywhere shedding tears and conservatives gritting their teeth.
But nobody with common sense can mistake this move as anything other than Ginsberg’s typical posturing, a woman who pretended to represent a philosophy of righteousness but displayed a remarkable and unequalled ruthlessness typical of the Democratic Party.
She knew perfectly well that her dying request became cannon fodder in the biggest supreme court battle of the century, staging her death as the final act by refusing to step down even as cancer brought her closer and closer to death – she desperately hoping to hold on until a Democratic president and Democrat senate could name her replacement.
While Democrats are moaning and wailing about fair play in regards to naming a new high court judge in an election year, they forget the Ginsberg herself claimed Obama should have that right back in 2016, when the GOP successfully stalled until Trump got elected.
Since nobody expected Trump to win, we all assumed Hillary Clinton would be naming the judge instead of Trump naming Kavanaugh.
Everybody knew the excuse the GOP used was bullshit, and that having the majority vote, the GOP had power to stall appointment. If the Democrats had the vote then, they would have done what Trump is proposing now, naming a judge in an election year.
But we get this passive aggressive crap from the media and Democrats that somehow using the power you have while you have it is unfair, when it is clearly foolish not to make the appointment while you can.
You either use it or lose it.
Media and the Democrats are trying to do for the supreme court nomination what white guilt is doing to race relations, to somehow guilt the GOP out of doing what needs to be done for the GOP to survive.
All this wailing by Democrats is just a sign of how helpless they are in 2020 as they were in 2016.
This whole lot illusion of  fair play is the most ludicrous part of the democratic argument since they are ruthless game players and they are using fair play as a cover in order to try to intimidate GOP Senators into giving up the one power they have.
We're watching Democrats in a total tantrum much the way their followers were after they learned that Trump won in 2016 they will do and say anything to manipulate their way into a position where the GOP no longer has the ability to name the court judge.
If the GOP caves into the Democratic threats and bullying, they may give hope to the Biden campaign (which my most objective observations) seems to be treading water. If Democrats see a prize as the end of the rainbow, they might be motivated to get out their vote.
As Gen. Sherman once said on his total war in the south, you have to destroy all hope in order to win in such conflicts.
The GOP needs to act even in Democrats threaten to huff and puff and blow the whole country down.
But theater is theater and we are watching all of the actors in play making their moves media in particular manipulating the public the way it usually does try to make out the GOP to be bad guys because they want to make a choice they have power to make and the Democrats are furious that they can't stop them
It appears that the whole thing will boil down to one vote, one poor GOP senator who will be able to decide the fate of the nation much as the one poor fool did in Delaware in passing the Declaration of Independence.
Will that Senator want to go down as the person who stopped the Supreme Court nomination and destroy the GOP?
Or will let that person side with the rest of the GOP and guarantee that there will be a conservative court going into the new year regardless of who wins the White House or the US Senate.
Meanwhile let's hope the Ginsberg's ghost remains firmly buried and we get no more deathbed requests.
