My local Daily newspaper is turning into the Washington Post. It's like
a chapter out of the Night of the Living Dead. It started out with a few pieces
of drivel-- you know this pathetic stuff about freedom of the press and it's
gotten worse and worse, editorials spewing the same drivel that comes out of The
Post then after a while it started quoting The Post and now it is reprinting
stories directly from The Post and I don't know what to do about it.
I'm thinking maybe there's a 12-step program that can help these poor
unfortunate fools. But the scary part of that I can't afford to give therapy to
an entire editorial staff no matter how much they need it.
How this happened is beyond me maybe they got careless and like people
who get pain medicine sort of got sucked into this addiction without realizing
it or perhaps like the pharmaceutical industry The Washington Post has pushers
out there in the public encouraging young naive journalist to get addicted.
The problem is it's difficult to know how much worse it can get will we
have to worry about our lives and lock up our jewelry.
And what will our neighbors say if they find out?
I mean it is all right out there
in public and it's so utterly embarrassing.
And these poor fools do not even know they're sick or how twisted they
have become inside and how pathetic they are in imitating such a pathetic institution.
And what about the General Public?
Shouldn't they be warned?
I mean when you have a virus going around you have the health
department call out and people are inoculated.
I mean can we get an anti-flu shot for the Washington Post at our local
drugstore?
I would call a priest to do an exorcism on these poor fools who accept
the Washington Post don’t believe in God and so it wouldn’t be very ineffective.
The real sad part of it is my local Daily Newspaper used to be a very
nice paper to read almost accurate how could this happen to such a nice paper
and how can we prevent it from happening to other nice papers like this?
Look at the LA Times did when it took over the Daily News in New York? It
castrated the staff and turned the whole thing into another snowflake paper.
Is there any way to save my local daily or is it a lost cause once that
bug gets into the body of this media Outlet is it doomed forever?
Is there an institution we can send the editorial staff to in order to
get them less brainwashed?
Or at least locked up for their own good and the general welfare of the
public.
And is there any way to get at the root cause and stop this spread of
the Washington Post virus from spreading to other institutions and ruining
other young lives?
Is there a hotline number we can call to alert people when this kind of
thing creeps into their town with the potential to destroy their local media,
too?
Should we have some sort of National Council or some sort of
Investigation by the US Senate to see how this happened and how we can stamp it
out before it happens again?
Maybe we can put up posters or
flyers on telephone poles listing the warning signs against infection by The
Washington Post.
Perhaps we can even issue condoms or needle exchange program to keep
its spread controlled.
At least, I really hope that it
has not gone out of control like global warming and that we are now seeing the
demise of every paper infected by this deadly disease?
