Saturday Night Live went off the deep end again.
SNL hasn’t been good since it’s first season, but can you imagine
how much worse it will get when it finally manages to run Trump out of office
and will need someone new to pick on.
I keep wanting everything to turn out like an old-style
Hollywood movie the problems it never does.
Even back then in those so-called Golden Years politics
sucked and people were as meanspirited as now, only in those days they had the
decency to hide their viciousness behind some kind of mask of respectability.
This is not to say things will get better they will just come
down and we will go back to the drum beat that we were on before Trump
disrupted world. We will go back
to the socialistic idea of slow acquisition of Power by a particular group of master
manipulators.
This is part of the generation of people who have not been
taught anything about how to at least look gracious even when at heart nobody
ever is.
These days nobody hides anything and so we get this role of
political rage that we hide partially behind images of social justice and the
welfare of the health of Americans when all it really is is how to manipulate
people's opinion.
Media is good at selling you things you can’t see for
yourself but isn’t nearly as effective when something happens right under your
nose. That’s the point when you start to smell a rat when media is telling you
something you saw happen and it isn’t the way you saw it happen at all.
Fortunately things are probably going to be over in less than
a month as election of winds down after 4 years of total Insanity and the new
president takes over.
A Democrat is someone who will take your money and give it to
someone else and will keep doing it until you’re as broke as the person the Democrat
is giving it to, and the Democrat will move on to bleed someone else. If you’re
real lucky, you might get bled enough to need the money the Democrats are
giving away. If not, you just starve.
What will be different, however, will be how these things get
justified and where will media go after haven’t picked on Trump for four years.
How will media top its already salacious headlines?
Some people talk about the “new normal” which means nobody
can go back to that more innocent and naive time when we all sleepwalked
through the Obama years and Kumbaya, pretending like we were all good soldiers
for righteous cause.
Too many cities have been burned, too much blood spilled, too
much ink has been printed showing how vicious we really are.
Things do not look good for the re-election of trump which
means that the mean-spirited behavior of corrupt news organizations and raw rip
off of Power works.
We can tear down an economy. We can allow people to get sick.
We can do all those nasty things we think are justified by social justice
because the ultimate game is to win.
Even as Trump is in the hospital, he is being attacked
savagely by people who just want him to die. These are the people who do not
know how to win an election and so do everything possible to cheat.
How do you fix everything once this is all over? How do you
make the media look responsible again? How
do you put the genie back in the box when it's clear did the Democrats were
willing to do anything, say anything and hurt anyone to get their way?
Once they dump Trump, what does media get to sink its fangs
into?
Nixon once it was quoted as saying the media won't have him
to pick on anymore
He was wrong of course.
He had a whole lifetime of viciousness to endure before he
finally stepped down out of the White House.
Trump may be luckier, but he is almost as hated as Nixon was
by a generation who might well chase him into the grave to stick a stake in his
heart just to make sure he can never rise from the dead.
